Populating the Environment Again

The last two things I wanted to add back into the environment were trees and rock. I ended up using one of the trees from the asset pack and found that it didn't bump the build size up too much and it was much easier than trying to model and texture a whole new tree.

For the rocks, Andrew had some low-poly rocks from another project and sent them over. I didn't use the textures he had, as they were built for Unreal, were higher resolution than I wanted, and I wanted to add some snow to them. I dropped his model into Substance Painter and whipped up a really quick texture for it. It looked decent enough but you might be able to tell that my standards are dropping further the closer we are to the deadline!

After getting all of those in, here is a screenshot of the updated environment with the light of the final outpost guiding our way!

Uploading the new build to Itch

The last thing I wanted to get done today was making sure that the new build would upload to Itch and work as expected. And it did!
